Large production volume

Any kind of agricultural product, even if you have never used or eaten it, actually has a very large production volume, calculated in hundreds of thousands of tons, millions of tons, tens of millions or even tens of millions of tons. A large amount of storage space is required. If cold storage is used, the cost is unbearable for humans.

Drying is a very old and traditional process. It does not even require human participation. It can be dried by relying on the sun and ventilation. Because of this, it has not attracted much attention. People think what is the point of studying? Just dry it in the sun. Therefore, to this day, the drying and processing of agricultural products in my country is still very backward, mostly relying on the weather and polluting processing. The country encourages large-scale and intensive production of agricultural products, but the next problem is storage, transportation and sales. The government is powerless to do this. Farmers can only find ways to do it themselves, mainly by drying and then storing, transporting and selling. However, the drying place after large-scale and intensive farming is a very big problem. It is impossible to distribute it to each household for drying. What should we do if it rains suddenly? Therefore, we must rely on modern drying equipment.

At present, the drying equipment for agricultural products is generally very backward. Most of them use coal and firewood, and a small part uses gas and electricity. The cost is very high, and sometimes it pollutes agricultural products. For example: Betel nut in Hainan Province was originally the top southern medicine and has the effect of preventing and fighting cancer. However, in the past few years, farmers directly burned coal or construction waste to dry betel nut, which made betel nut a carcinogenic product. The loss of farmers in one year reached more than 10 billion yuan. Since 2013, Hainan Agriculture Department has invested over 100 million yuan in subsidies to promote energy-saving and environmentally friendly drying equipment based on heat pumps. It has not recovered yet, and the lesson is profound.

Drying consumes a lot of energy, and coal and wood for drying are also major contributors to environmental pollution. Now the haze coverage area in my country has reached more than 10%, and it is concentrated in more developed cities, and even hit Japan. Therefore, it is a general trend to control high-pollution coal-fired and wood-fired drying equipment and promote green energy-saving and environmentally friendly equipment based on heat pumps. The country has introduced many very strong subsidy policies.

Heat pump is the only equipment discovered by humans so far with an efficiency of more than 100%.
