【2】 Daylily production process and the advantages of using a dryer

1. Production process: picking and selecting materials → cleaning → steaming → fumigation → drying and softening → packaging

2. Daylily Dryer: The air drying method is the most ideal for daylily drying. Since the harvest period of daylily is in the rainy and hot season, if it is only dried naturally, many daylilies will not be dried in time due to weather reasons, resulting in quality decline and even mildew, causing great economic losses.

The air drying process of the daylily dryer is gentle, which fully maintains the nutritional value of the daylily, and the finished product has a good color and taste! The drying process is pollution-free, closed-box operation, very hygienic, making the daylily more competitive in the market. Therefore, drying day lily in an artificial drying room and selecting a reasonable drying process are of great significance to day lily production.

【3】Reference process for drying daylily

Phase 1: Spread the daylily evenly on the baking tray and push it into the drying room. The initial setting temperature is 80℃, but because the daylily absorbs a lot of heat, the drying room temperature will drop to 60-65℃, and keep this temperature for 10-12 hours;

Phase 2: After cooling, set the drying room temperature to 50℃ until the moisture content is maintained at 14%. Pay attention to moisture removal during drying and maintain a relative humidity below 65%;

Phase 3: In order to prevent the dehydrated daylily from breaking and affecting the quality, it needs to be put into the tank for 3-5 days to soften. The finished daylily should be held tightly by hand without being brittle, and can be naturally dispersed after letting go, so that it is better not to stick to each other.
