How air source heat pumps in tobacco roasting can enable farmers to roast tobacco well and sell it at a good price

Release time:

According to statistical analysis, more than 90% (about 3.4 million households) of China's tobacco farmers planted an area of less than 10 mu, and more tobacco areas are planted in an average area of about 5 mu per household, especially in Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Chongqing and other places where the average household area is still mostly around 4 mu. Therefore, a part of the production area should still adhere to the use of ordinary standardized baking houses, baking house construction focus on improving the degree of standardization and concentration of baking houses, the promotion of professional baking, social services as the main content of intensive baking methods.

With the adjustment of agricultural planting structure, tobacco scale planting, scale cultivation, industrialized production, standardized management has become the new situation and new direction of tobacco production in China.

Although the Tobacco Board is pressing ahead with the construction of intensive baking houses at the baking bases, some old tobacco farmers like to bake their cigarettes using their old methods and resist the use of new equipment, always worrying that the machines will bake the tobacco badly. Relying on personal experience to roast tobacco makes it difficult to control the temperature and humidity of the roasting room accurately, and the final roasted tobacco often appears green and mouldy, making it difficult to meet the national standards for top quality tobacco.

A good tobacco roasting plant can help tobacco farmers to complete the roasting process successfully and achieve twice the result with half the effort. The intelligent tobacco heat pump baking equipment has a powerful intelligent control system that can stabilise the moisture content of roasted tobacco and, together with the internal circulation dehumidification process, can meet the temperature and humidity requirements during the drying yellowing, colour setting and dry tendon periods of the tobacco.

After putting the raw tobacco into the drying room, the tobacco farmer can observe and adjust the baking process through his mobile phone, fully realising controlled and intelligent management. The control system has a number of tobacco baking curves, so that the tobacco farmer can modify the dry bulb temperature, wet bulb temperature and baking duration at each stage according to the local tobacco and climate conditions, and the modified curves can be stored and called up at any time.

The whole process of tobacco drying is completed under a closed drying kiln, free from the interference of the external environment, retaining 100% of the original colour and aroma of tobacco, and producing 98% more golden roasted tobacco compared to traditional coal-fired boilers.

Key points of heat pump dryer drying tobacco leaves.

Tobacco leaves have both stage division and ambiguity in the baking process. Yellowing and drying are two aspects of the same thing, and they are complementary to each other and cannot be separated from each other. The late stage of yellowing should be regarded as the drying preparation period; the early stage of colour fixing should be regarded as the yellowing sweeping period; the transformation from the yellowing period to the colour fixing period is called turning fire, and the importance of turning fire should be paid much attention to, and the technical requirements of turning fire should be strictly stipulated. In the baking process, it is repeatedly stressed that the tobacco must lose a moderate amount of water while completing the yellowing target in the yellowing period, and that the tobacco must be completely yellow while completing the dehydration task in the colour setting period.

Yellowing period
The yellowing period is the period from the time the tobacco leaves are loaded in the bed to the time when yellowing is basically completed. This is the period when the transformation of the material in the tobacco leaf takes place intensely, so that it develops in a direction favourable to improving quality. During this period, three major tasks are to be completed: the full transformation of the inner material, the yellowing of the colour and the moderate dehydration. Control of process conditions: lower temperature, higher humidity, less ventilation and longer time.

Colour setting period
The process of fixing the quality characteristics of the tobacco leaves from the time they are basically yellow to the time they are completely dry. The main task: to remove the water from the leaf and accelerate the drying process; to fix the qualities that have become apparent by limiting and eventually stopping the material changes in the leaf through the removal of large amounts of water. During the dehydration process, the part of the leaf that has not yet turned yellow completes its yellowing, and special attention should be paid to the formation of aroma-causing substances, browning reactions and other significant effects on quality. Baking conditions: To ensure that the tobacco leaves are dry, fully yellowed and the aromatic substances are formed, higher temperatures, lower humidity, greater ventilation and sufficient time should be used.
Tendon drying period
This is the period when the water is removed from the main veins. The main veins have a tight structure, are large in size and have a long distance to travel for cellular moisture transfer, so vaporisation is slow and must be further increased in temperature and humidity in order to achieve dry tendon. However, the temperature should not be too high during the dry period, as this may result in the loss of aroma-causing substances or further transformation and reduce quality.

The dense roasting room with professional air energy tobacco roasting equipment, so that the tobacco roasting will have a professional guarantee, to help reduce the roasting process of various problems, so that the tobacco farmers feel at ease roasting good tobacco, sell a good price!
